— The studio

Three teams, one table

We shoot, we edit and we build — from the same brief, on the same schedule, in the same studio. That is the whole idea, and everything else follows from it.

01 Why we started

We started AAK Production because good films kept ending up on slow websites, and good websites kept being filled with stock photos. Doing both in one place fixes that.

Normally a brand hires one agency to shoot, another to edit and a third to build. The three never talk. The video arrives too heavy for the site, the site was built before anyone saw the footage, and the client is left holding both ends.

We do all of it. The same studio plans the shoot, cuts the edit and writes the code — so the film is shot in the sizes the site needs, and the site is built to show it without slowing down.

Aarav Chauhan

Runs every project personally, from the first call to launch and after it. The brief, the shoot, the edit and the build answer to one person, so the film and the site are planned as one thing.

Film & Photo

Everything in front of and behind the lens: photography, film, motion, the colour and the sound. Every frame we deliver is cut and graded in our own bay.

Web & Apps

The plan and the build: the pages, the speed target, the hand-written front-end, and the updates, fixes and security that keep it healthy after launch.

03 How we compare

Three agencies,
or one studio

What usually goes wrong when the shooting, the editing and the building are bought from different people — and what changes when they are not.

Three separate agencies

The usual way it is bought

  • The video does not fit the site. Huge files dropped into a template that was built before anyone saw them.
  • Templates and stock photos. The same theme as everyone else, with sample text still in it at launch.
  • Sold by one person, done by another. You meet the owner once and deal with juniors after that.
  • No clear price. Three weeks of calls before anyone says a number.

AAK Production

One studio, three teams

  • The founder is on every project. Same person on the first call and at launch.
  • Shot for the screen it lands on. 8K footage, cut and compressed so the site still opens in under a second on a phone.
  • One team, one invoice. No passing work between vendors and no gaps in between.
  • A price before the call. Tick what you need in the scope builder and it gives you a timeline on the spot.
  • We stay after launch. Updates, fixes, speed and security, watched all year.

Cheap freelance marketplaces

The lowest quote

  • A checklist, not a plan. Stock images, copied code, no thought about the brand.
  • Hard to reach. Messages go unanswered and launch dates slip.
  • Breaks easily. Built on plug-ins that stop working after the next browser update.
  • Gone after launch. Nobody is watching the site once the invoice is paid.
